RIP

After a good six weeks, and I must say, an eventful and exciting six weeks, Rumours and Ramblin's is being put out to pasture. It was a good life but it needed attention to survive.

That and I have trouble enough updating one blog, let alone two.

Week 3 - Set Back

It was a little bit of a rough week with Pizza, and Nachos, and chinese food, and that was just one meal. Just Kidding. Anyways, I did get to the gym 5 times and play road hockey on Sunday so the exercise was still there. In the end it was no net change. Still 250 even. Good news is I am still on pace for vacation weight.

I tried ATB's Phone Licking Diet but that didn't seem to do anything, except I now have small pox. That might help me lose weight, maybe. Maybe I just need to give it more time.

Spike TV Stole Our Idea

It turns out that you should always right your ideas down and submit them to a patent office or something as soon as possible. Spike TV has taken an idea that ATB and I had, with a little help from f-Dawg, back a few years ago in University and turned into a new reality TV show.

Sitting around one night ATB and I were, well, probably watching wrestling, came up with an idea for a TV show in which I, the good looking sports stud that I am, would go one-on-one, mano-a-mano, with some of the best pro athletes in the business. I would be set by a couple of rules and the people at home could watch me get pummelled.

Anyways, the first, and really only, challenge that we had was Duncan versus Terrell Davis, former 2000 yard rusher from the Denver Broncos. The idea was, or the challenge, is that in ten attempts I could not tackle him once. He would have to travel ten yards up the field and ten yards of lateral movement would be allowed. ATB and F-Dawg say I would get blasted everytime. I say in 10 attempts I at least trip him up once, but realistically I probably knock him down 4 or 5 times. I have a couple strikes against me like never playing football before but I am quick like a cat and I am really good looking, and that alone would take me to the promise land.

So what do I find on Spike TV last night was an ad for Joes vs. Pros. This is a reality show where everyday Joes go and compete against the Pros. I feel like I should be awarded a finders fee or something. If I lived in the USA I would probably sue those Spike TV masterminds. In the end I just couldn't do it. How could I take on the network that brought us Slamball and MXC? I just thought I would let you all know that we thought of it first and if Spike wants to send a check our way my name is spelled D-U-N-........

Probably The Worst Charge to Have On Your Criminal Record - Threatening To Sexually Molest a Dog

"Natasha Lyonne is being dogged by an arrest warrant.

The American Pie actress is a wanted woman in New York after she failed to show for a court date. The 26-year-old was on the docket Monday for a hearing stemming from an alleged December rampage inside her neighbor's apartment.

Lyonne racked up charges for criminal mischief, harassment and trespassing after she purportedly went postal on her New York neighbor, ripping a mirror off the woman's wall and threatening to sexually molest her dog."

Week 2

Well Week Two in the weight loss adventure has come to a close. It was a tougher week in terms of eating as I had a couple days of eating bad food (Burgers, Cactus Cut Potatos, Fries) but I did work out a lot this week. Everyday I was doing something active. I do think golf in underrated as a weight loss activity. I mean you are walking like 6-8 kilometres carrying a 30 lbs golf bag. That is a lot of work.

So what was the net result. Well I lost 4 more lbs and I am still on pace for my April goal of less than 240 before the cruise. So I just gotta keep doing what I am doing and don't quit, don't get discouraged.

I was in the bathroom today and was thinking of how excited I get thinking about the weigh-in day throughout the week and excited to see the results. Then on Sunday I am almost scared to get onto the scale. It is like I do not want to know. It is almost like if I didn't lose weight I would go crazy and fall off the wagon. Like today I was feeling disappointed that I didn't lose 9 lbs again.

Then I have to think how unrealistic it would be to lose 9 lbs a week for 10 weeks in a row. I think i would have to stop eating altogether. Oh yeah, and probably die from lack of food.

Anyways, success again and I will keep everyone updated.

Week 1

I have to say that week 1 of the Duncan Weight Loss Program went pretty well. As of Sunday at 1:10pm PST I had lost 9 lbs.

The unfortunate part is I think I found 4-5 of the those pounds in the form of the Super Bowl turkey dinner and ice cream (and Spinach Dip, Mash Potatos, Gravy, Stuffing, Meat and Cheese and Crackers, and Fresca). So I cheated a little bit today. It was just a minor setback and I didn't completely fall of the horse. I did get exercise this morning playing roadhockey for a couple of hours.

I will be back at it on Monday. Back to the gym and back to eating mostly right.
